HISTORY
Autumn's Grey Solace was founded by instrumentalist/composer Scott Ferrell and vocalist/lyricist Erin Welton.
In early 2000, they started recording their 1st album, Within The Depths Of A Darkened Forest. This self-released debut featured a deep, ambient sound. Recording was completed in 2001, and the album was released in 2002.
2002-2004: A period of songwriting and recording.
February 2004: Autumn's Grey Solace is signed to Projekt Records.
Their 2nd album, Over The Ocean, was released by Projekt in mid 2004. It is a lush blend of electric and acoustic instruments with an ethereal shoegazing sound.
The song "Through The Snowy Trees" was recorded in mid 2004 for the Projekt Holiday Single #1. It was released in October of 2004.
Their 3rd album, Riverine, was released May 31st, 2005. It is a mesmerizing mixture of mystical vocals and dramatic guitar soundscapes.
In mid 2005, "Musica Eternal" was recorded for "Summoning Of The Muse - A Tribute To Dead Can Dance". It was released in September of 2005.
The 4th album, Shades Of Grey, was released in September of 2006. This album takes the ethereal shoegazing genre into unexplored territory.
Autumn's Grey Solace is currently writing and recording material for their 5th album.
